This literature review examined how teachers' emotional intelligence affects students' well-being. Emotionally intelligent teachers promote a safe learning environment that supports students' well-being, motivation, and school engagement. Their emotional intelligence also strengthens students' resilience, self-esteem, and emotional skills. Developing emotional intelligence is important in teacher education and school practices.
